Civil War reenactor at Encounter Center

SIOUX CITY -- The Betty Strong Encounter Center will present "A Visit from a Civil War Soldier" with reenactor O.J. Fargo at 2 p.m.Jan. 15. Admission is free; a reception will follow.

Fargo will dress in full Union Army regalia for his first-person presentation. After a brief overview of Iowa's Civil War involvement, the audience will meet a returning Civil War veteran, played by Fargo.
