WWII veteran, 92, finally gets Purple Heart

Oscar Davis Jr. of North Carolina, 92, has finally received the Purple Heart he earned more than 70 years ago while fighting in Belgium during World War II. Davis was told long ago that he would receive the honor, but the paperwork was never signed. In Fayetteville on Saturday, Lt. Col. Marcus Wright pinned the medal to Davis' jacket. "This has been some day," Davis said.
