Women's Army Auxiliary Corps veteran dies at 100

Millie Dunn Veasey, believed to be one of the last African-American women to serve overseas during World War II, has died at age 100 in Raleigh, N.C. After graduating from high school in 1942, she enlisted in what was called the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps, serving in France and England. She later became the first female president of the Raleigh NAACP.
